Menu Planning Monday.



Hey people, nice to be back! Took a break from blogging for a while as life has got in the way, far too much family time, evenings out, celebrations and ... work!

So, this week is nicely planned as I've got my food mojo back.

Monday - pork belly with baba ghanoush
Tuesday - lamb steaks with a green bean, sun dried tomato and feta salad
Wednesday & Thursday - The Husband is out so it's prawn salad and chicken liver salad respectively, just for a change!
Friday - communal dinner party at a friends, with 6 adults and 7 kids a lot of fun will be had! I was chosen to bring a pud and think tiramisu will go down well with everyone
Saturday - crispy chilli beef with noodles
Sunday - pork belly and whatever veg is left in the fridge

I've also taken a big brave step and cancelled my WW subscription. I was getting bored of the meetings and fed up of tracking, but have managed to maintain my weight for the last 3 weeks without any great hardship. Seeing as I'm only 1lb off my lowest ever adult weight and only planned to lose the 3 extra lbs to give myself a buffer (read: plan expect to put this back on immediately) there seems no point in forking out 20 squideroonies a month for nothing. Wish me well folks!

I'll leave you (if I can upload it seperately!) with a pic from our anniversary meal out last weekend - wonderful late afternoon sat in the pub beer garden in the sun, followed by a fab meal overlooking the harbour. Happy Days!
